Seminar on “How to Identify Copyright Violations and Distinguish Counterfeit Products”

 

          On 11th September 2017, the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) and the Royal Danish Embassy, Thailand, conducted seminar on “How to Identify Copyright Violations and Distinguish Counterfeit Products” at the Danish Ambassador's Residence. The objectives of the seminar are to share experiences and techniques regarding the detection of copyright violation and counterfeit control and to develop guidelines for easier recognition of infringing goods. Furthermore, this seminar aims to strengthen the cooperation between Thai enforcement authorities and Danish companies that hold intellectual property rights in Thailand. More than 60 participants from Thai government agencies including the Thai Customs Department, the Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECD), the Metropolitan Police Bureau, Department of Special Investigation (DSI) and the DIP participated in the seminar.
