เมื่อวันที่ 29 กันยายน – 1 ตุลาคม 2560 กรมทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา ร่วมกับกองบังคับการปราบปรามการกระทำความผิดเกี่ยวกับอาชญากรรมทางเศรษฐกิจ และตัวแทนภาคเอกชนผู้รับมอบอำนาจจาก บริษัท ซีเล็คทีฟ เทรดมาร์ค ยูเนี่ยน (ไทยแลนด์) จำกัด ลงพื้นที่ตรวจสอบสินค้าละเมิดทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาในพื้นที่กรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล ซึ่งจากการตรวจสอบเจ้าหน้าที่สามารถจับกุมและตรวจยึด 2 คดี พร้อมผู้ต้องหา 2 คน พบของกลางประเภท กระเป๋า ที่ปลอมเครื่องหมายการค้า กุชชี่ มิวมิว YSL รวมของกลางทั้งสิ้น 73 ชิ้น

From 29th September to 1st October 2017, the DIP, the Economic Crime Suppression Division and a representative of foreign brand owners inspected different shopping areas in Bangkok. From the inspection, the officials found two infringing activities and arrested two suspects. 73 counterfeit bags that copied trademarks including Chanel, Gucci, Miu Miu and YSL were seized.
