                     กรมทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาได้จัดงาน GI Market 2016 ระดมสินค้า GI ที่เป็นสินค้าคุณภาพตามมาตรฐานสิ่งบ่งชี้ทางภูมิศาสต์ กว่า60 รายการ จากแหล่งผลิตสินค้าส่งตรงจากผู้ผลิตมาถึงมือผู้บริโภคระหว่างวันที่ 17– 23มีนาคม2559ณ ลานแสดงและจำหน่ายสินค้า ชั้น 1 ศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัลพลาซ่า แจ้งวัฒนะ ซึ่งงาน GI Market 2016 ถือเป็นกิจกรรมส่งเสริมและสนับสุนนการสร้างช่องทางการตลาดในทางหนึ่ง เพื่อให้ผู้บริโภคได้รู้จักและเลือกซื้อสินค้า GI ที่หลากหลายจากแหล่งต่างๆ ทั่วประเทศไทยอีกทั้งเป็นการสร้างโอกาสอันดีของผู้ประกอบการสินค้า GI ให้มีช่องทางในการจำหน่ายสินค้าและความสามารถในการแข่งขัน เพื่อขยายตลาดเดิม เจาะตลาดใหม่ รวมถึงพัฒนาช่องทางการค้า ส่งผลให้เกิดการหมุนเวียนทางเศรษฐกิจ จากชุมชนเมืองสู่ชุมชนท้องถิ่น กระตุ้นให้เกิดการจับจ่ายใช้สอยตามนโยบายของรัฐบาล ซึ่งงาน GIMarket ที่กรมทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาจัดขึ้น เป็นหนึ่งในแผนยุทธศาสตร์ของกระทรวงพาณิชย์ ที่มุ่งเน้นส่งเสริมผู้ประกอบการขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม ในงานนี้ได้ผลตอบรับเป็นอย่างดีสามารถสร้างยอดขายรวม 7 วันได้กว่า 8 ล้านบาท
The Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) offers over 60 items of local goods
directly presented to consumers at the “GI Market 2016” fair
between March 17 and 23 at Central Plaza Chaeng Wattana
DIP arranged the GI Market 2016 fair. The fair offers more than 60 items of quality GI products that are presented directly by manufactures at the exhibition and distribution hall on the first floor at Central Chaeng Wattana from March 17 to 23. The fair promotes and supports the opening of a new market so that consumers will be able to select and learn about a wide selection of GI products manufactured in different locations nationwide. It is a good opportunity for GI manufacturers to have a distribution channel and to enhance their competitive capabilities, enabling them not only to expand their existing markets but also to penetrate new markets. This opportunity, in addition, allows them to develop a commercial channel, to boost economic circulations among downtown and local markets, as well as to stimulate the public spending in accordance with the government’s policies. In this regard, holding the GI Market fair is one of the strategic plans by the Ministry of Commerce, which aims to promote SME entrepreneurs. In GI Market 2016 fair can create income for Thai GI Farmers more than 8 million baht.
